Register your new-found fellow sailor as a friend using ´register as a friend´.
Making more friends in the game will make the game play more enjoyable.

See where your friend is, his or her current status, and what fleet they are affiliated to by checking the friend list window. You can also send a mail through the friend list.
Register as friend
Click on the player you would like to register as a friend. A window will appear.

If the recipient accepts, you will become registered friends. The character name will be added to your friend list.
