Epic Sea Feud
Requirements to join
Players can check quest status in real-time on the quest info
window.
In order to join Epic Sea Feud, the following requirements must be met :

There are enemy NPCs inland that may initiate an attack.
1 Total level must be higher than 11.

2 Player must be in possession of the port permit for the target area.

3 Total fame must be higher than 500.

4 Player must have Epic Sea Feud quest.

5 A friendly player with the same quest in the same fleet as the player
How to join
Players in Epic Sea Feud have distinctive marks.
The following is how to join Epic Sea Feud after the combat is on:

1 Talk to a minister or a city official or in your own territory or an allied port to have the Epic Sea Feud quest.
Epic Sea Feud quest becomes available only 6 hours before the combat is on. Player of an allied country needs to talk to a minister or a city official in the headquarters of the allied country or an allied port. Epic Sea Feud quest will not be available if you are taking on any other quest. 2 Epic Sea Feud commences in the target sea area. Offensive players that meet requirements for joining Epic Sea Feud have red sword-shaped marks on them, while defending players have blue sword-shaped marks.

3 The quest is considered as completed when the time runs out for 「Closing Stage」. Similar to when you got the quest, talk to the minister or city official to report in the territory or the allied port to collect rewards for the quest.

4 You may get a Navy dispatch request when reporting completion of the quest. Navy dispatch request sends friendly navy forces in the middle of a combat for help, and is provided to the losing or inferior side. Players of allied countries need to talk to the minister or city official to report in the territory or the allied port. When the time limit for the next Epic Sea Feud vote opening is expired with one Epic Sea Feud quest completed, simply go to the minister of your country for reporting, which cannot be done in an allied port.
5 Make sure to have a fleet with more than 2 friendly players when you receive the quest. Fleet is required for joining Epic Sea Feud. (Fleeting can only be done within cities.)
Information on rounds (large scale operation)
Each of 3 rounds has 3 hours, and ships with the below classes are allowed for each round.
Early Stage Opening ~ 1st hour Small ships can join the combat
Mid Stage End of 1st hour ~ 2nd hour Medium-sized ships can join the combat
Closing Stage End of 2nd hour ~ 3rd hour Large ships can join the combat
The result decided after each round is over does not count. Messages that announce the end of early, mid and closing stages will be displayed in the chat window.
Service points that count for ranking are counted for wins of sea battles.

If you win, additional points are +1 for early stage, +2 for mid stage, +3 for closing stage, +2 if combined level of enemy ships that you destroyed is higher than your own level, +1 if the levels equal, ±0 if the total is lower than half. Total time for rounds (large scale operation) is limited to 3 hours. Maximum number of ships that can join sea battles is limited to 10 per team (total of 20 can be in the battle) Result of Epic Sea Feud is determined by the 「Victory point」, which is calculated from the number of winning rounds. Victory point depends on the class of each round, and calculated as in the table below.
Each of 3 rounds has 3 hours, and ships with the below classes are allowed for each round.
Early Stage Small ships only 1 point per win
Mid Stage Mid-sized ships only 2 points per win
Closing Stage Large ships only 3 points per win
NPC from defending team shows up in the area for each round. Engaging the NPC fleet will award one point per win regardless of the
class.
Fleets cannot be configured in the area for each round.
Conditions for Epic Sea Feud battle
Information for requirements to be considered as a battle in Epic Sea Feud.

1 The battle must occur in the designated area for each round.

2 All members of fleet must have an ongoing Epic Sea Feud quest.

3 Results of a battle with too much difference of power between the sides will not be counted. A message with such information will be displayed in the chat window, such as: [Due to such a difference of power, the result of this battle will not be counted], when the combat starts.
4 Members of each side must be in the same team. Players from other teams can join the fleet, but will not be allowed to join the battle.

5 Members of each fleet must be in the appropriate class per stage and hour – fleets with wrong size/class will not be allowed to join the battle.

6 Fighting the same opponent more than 4 times in any specific round will not be counted.

7 Click 「Check on problem for joining Epic Sea Feud」 in the quest info window if you cannot join the battle to find more details on your problem.

Change with influence after winning/losing Epic Sea Feud
Your influence on each city within the sea area where the target city is located will vary depending on whether you win or lose Epic Sea Feud.

When the allied forces of Spain, England and Venice wins the Epic Sea Feud, Spain, England and Venice rise to Victory!! [Jutland Peninsula, Open Sea], Change of influence on allied ports in Northern Sea

a. Influence level of Spain goes up sharply
b. Influence level of England goes up narrowly
c. Influence level of Venice goes up narrowly


The Netherlands, Portugal and France Lose… [Jutland Peninsula, Open Sea], Change of influence on allied ports in Northern Sea

a. Influence level of The Netherlands drops sharply
b. Influence level of Portugal drops narrowly
c. Influence level of France drops narrowly


Degree of change with influence depends on the combat results overall.
Also opposing countries and allied countries have different ratios of distribution.
Opposing countries have a bigger ratio of fluctuations, while the opposite goes for allied countries.
Allied port may change hands depending on the change of influence. Change of influence is reflected upon the end of Epic Sea Feud, resulting in immediate change of ownership at the allied port.
Investment prohibition period depends on the winning ratio of Epic Sea Feud
Investment prohibition period in the target city depends on the winning ratio of Epic Sea Feud.
After the closing stage comes to an end on the last day of Epic Sea Feud, the winning ratio of the dominating team determines length of the investment prohibition period on the target city.
(Interest from change of influence on the target city is maintained within the period)

If the two sides tie in the match, no prohibition will be set. Prohibition period will be displayed when player attempts to make an investment in the target city.

Information on court ranks in the game :

1 Ranks are determined by accumulated combat results from each round.

2 Ranks are awarded from Royal Castle or allied ministers.

3 List of players with high ranks can be checked with Maritime GM.
