Combat between two users at sea under certain circumstances is called a Vs. battle.
The rules in a Vs. battle are the same as with any naval combat.
There are four types of Vs. battles; battles in unsafe waters (with penalties), epic sea feuds (no penalties), bounty hunting, and mock battles.
Any user with adventure, trading, battle levels below 20 will not be attacked even in unsafe waters.Bounties can be attacked even in safe waters.
You can initiate Vs. battles on unsafe waters around the world.
Remember, if you initiate a war and win, your notoriety will rise 1,500 and you will become a bounty. It will also raise your hostility.
When in unsafe waters a will appear on the compass. If the receiver wins the Vs. battle there will be no chances in notoriety or hostility. If the enemy is a bounty there will be no changes in notoriety or hostility even if the opponent wins.
Bounty
When notoriety rises above 1,000 the user becomes a bounty.
This means the user will be subject to attack by other users even when in safe areas.
Bounties that have 0 hostility from their native country will show as orange. In any other case the name will show in red.
Initiating battle in unsafe waters and winning will turn the user into a bounty even if it happens just once.
Notoriety
Initiating battles with other users and attacking NPCs from the native country will raise notoriety.
Notoriety falls as days are spent at sea.
It is said somewhere there is an item that reduces notoriety.

Hostility
If you win a battle you initiated with another user it will raise the hostility between you and the opponent's native country. When the hostility levels rise above 90 you will be banned from all native villages. A powerful fleet of ships will come to defend if you approach a country with high hostility levels.
Hostility decreases as days are spent at sea.
It is said that somewhere there is an item that reduces hostility.

Attack bounties anywhere out at sea.
You will be rewarded depending on the level and notoriety of the bounty.
When the bounty is unable to pay up you can choose to take one of the bounty's belongings instead.
You can engage in a mock battle in safe waters with friends. Mock battles in safe waters have no effect on notoriety or hostility.
To fight in mock battle mode both parties must check [allow mock battles] in [communication] -> [settings].
